The POWH Foundation has launched an appeal this holiday season to raise money to acquire an Endoscopic laser machine for the Head & Neck Cancer Unit, in conjunction with leading Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon, Dr Ian Jacobson MB BCh(Cum Laude) FRACS.
The LUMENIS CO2 laser machine is a vital piece of equipment that will give patients with head and neck cancers a less invasive alternative to undergoing radiation, which can have immediate and lasting side effects. Patients with head and neck cancers will recover from their procedure in a couple of days instead of a number of weeks.
Please donate to the purchase of this laser machine that will make a direct, positive impact on patient well-being.
