Host your own Event
Participate in our charity events or create your own!
Hosting an event is all about putting the fun back into fundraising! The best thing about hosting your own fundraiser is that you get to decide what to do, when to do it and how big or small your ‘do’ will be.
You can host an event at your workplace, school, social or sports club, or at home – some event ideas include:
- A garage sale
- A themed movie night at your local cinema
- Organise a sausage sizzle at your local Bunnings or sports club
- Host a morning or afternoon tea at your workplace
- Plan a mufti-day at school
- Put on a cocktail event or dinner for your friends and family
- Organise a golf or barefoot bowls day
Online fundraising is an easy and convenient way for you to raise funds from your event. Simply, set up your online fundraising page today and send the link out to colleagues, friends and family and ask them to make a donation to your event. Call us on (02) 9382 4263 if you have any questions about setting up your online fundraising page.
For the last ten years, the incredible Heartbreakers Team, led by Fabian Heaton with his wife Maria, has raised more than $180,000 for the Prince of Wales Hospital through the Foundation, and we couldn’t be more proud of the amazing work they do! To be part of this team for 2016 and to join the Heartbreakers Trivia and Games Night later this year, contact Melissa on (02) 9382 4266 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
