I think I fell in love with nursing as a career because my grandparents lived in our home in Ireland. II loved my grandparents and I loved caring for them. My grandmother had diabetes and I helped give her medication. It was just a natural fit for me – it aligned with my strengths and wanting to make a difference to others.
